After finishing his study in Business Administration, Urs founded in 1988 his own company for the development of computer based trainings in Switzerland. Already in the first year the Swiss Army became his customer to develop programs for the Swiss Army. In 1991 he started the expansion of the company to Germany. In 2003 he was co-authoring a strategic elearning study for the Swiss Army which formed the basis for the growth of elearning in the Swiss Army.
In 2005 he sold the company to the global market leader for customized content, the TATA Interactive Systems. Today Urs is vice president for elearning and responsible for Central Europe. The head quarter for central Europe is based in Zug, a city in the heart of Switzerland. More than 30 employees are working in Zug. Most projects today are a combination of onsite/offshore developments. TATA Interactive Systems has worldwide more than 700 people.
